Did you know most employers will rarely see the second or third page of your CV or Resume. That is why you should have the most important information about yourself on the first page of your CV.
Highlight all the most important details of your CV on the first page and make sure to sell yourself. What I mean to say is market yourself totally on the first page of your CV.
Make a full use of the first page, do not waste any blank spaces and the font size should be readable at least 10pt or 12pt.
Highlight your skills, education, work experience, overview bio, languages, achievements and any other selling point you may thing will help your application.
You should have a CV that matches the job description criteria. This means no generic CV, a resume for every single job role and matches the content of the job description. This way you will increase your chances of getting employed.
If you are a graduate this will make a huge difference. If not make sure you have everything ticked out from the job description.
After applying for the role make sure you give them a call stating you have sent them your CV and what else should they might need from you. Engage with them and make them recognize you over the interview.
Best of luck and hopefully you will soon be employed and back in work!
